Integrated into the Taghazout Surf Expo, the Wave of Success program highlights initiatives that support the surf ecosystem in the region.
In this context, SMART Tourism – SDR TPME Souss Massa and the Tourism Development Region of Souss Massa (RDTR) are invited to present their support programs, particularly those related to surf activities and sustainable tourism.

The presentation will cover:
- The various support and financing mechanisms set up for local structures;
- Concrete results achieved over the past year, illustrated with figures and case studies;
- A spotlight on beneficiaries of these programs, featuring the testimony of a regional surf structure that has benefited from both support and funding.
The aim is to show how these initiatives strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, stimulate innovation, and consolidate the Souss Massa region’s positioning as a pioneer territory for surf and sustainable tourism.

Known for its waves, the region also reveals an inland rich in landscapes, traditions, and unique experiences. This workshop, organized in partnership with the Rural Tourism Development Network (RDTR - Réseau de Développement du Tourisme Rural), will highlight:
- The structuring projects carried out by the RDTR;
- The diversity of activities and experiences to discover in the hinterland;
- Their natural complementarity with the coastal surf offer.
This workshop is designed to inspire surf enthusiasts and tourism stakeholders alike, foster networking, and demonstrate how surf, nature, and culture can come together to enrich the visitor experience.
